Hygienically Clean and HLAC Certification
Faultless Healthcare Linen has four Hygienically Clean and HLAC certified laundry facilities devoted entirely to the processing of medical linen and apparel only. There is one in Kansas City, MO; another in Kansas City, KS, and two in St. Louis, MO.
Hygienically Clean Healthcare (HCH) certification recognizes laundries serving the healthcare community that commit to cleanliness through third-party, quantified biological testing and inspection. Hygienically Clean guides the reduction of pathogens on textile products to levels that pose no threat of human illness.
HLAC (Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council) accreditation confirms that a laundry facility which processes healthcare linens has properly completed an inspection of the facility, policies and procedures, training services, and its interactions with its healthcare clients. HLAC’s standards cover the complete textile processing cycle, from handling and transporting soiled healthcare textiles to in-plant processing and delivery back to the customer.
HLAC’s standards have earned the AORN Seal of Recognition. AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) recognizes that HLAC’s standards have undergone thorough review by AORN and meet their Recommended Practices.
ICU (Infection Control University), with more than 25 years of experience in managing risks and now a specialist in hospital acquired infections, recognizes hospital and contracted employees who have completed training that helps meet all CDC protocols, enforces safer work practices and helps promote a more safe and healthy facility. All Faultless Healthcare Linen route service representatives complete ICU’s Awareness and Bloodborne module certification.
